What's the best shit you've ever taken? Anyway you look at it, it's still shit. That's how I look at Yngwie's albums. :lol:

I think he's an amazing guitarist, but a crap songwriter. Unleash The Fury, though, is a great album name! 8)

he's songs aren't that good, and there are loads of guitarists now who can shred his balls off. but still...

Yngwie is without any doubt one of the best guitarists in his genre and he IS a good songwriter as well. To claim something else is...
3 albums you should check out is:

* Marching out
* Seventh sign
* Trilogy

The only album I´m not very fond of is "War to end all wars" which has an aweful production.

I got Rising Force years ago while I still liked masturbatory guitar playing. I remember hearing some pretty incredible stuff, but if interested in guitar music for the sake of guitar get some classical stuff like Segovia or something. It is far more beautiful and far far far more technical and difficult to play.

I do have to say that the vocals were amazing though! :lol:

Yngwie is a good guitar player, but he always has shit vocalists on his albums. I really can't reccomend any of them, for the vocals are horrible. Listen to some Esteban instead. Seriously.

Yeah no shit, are those not the most putrid vocals ever. My god I really didn't know whether to vomit or laugh everytime the dirt merchant would open his cocksucker and spew that cockbarf out.

Yeah, Esteban rules, of course, he was taught by Segovia if I'm not mistaken.

Marching Out is good. I've also heard a few tracks from Trilogy. He is another one of the first that got me into Neo-classical. Rising Force is damn good.

Btw, Matts Leven sang for him once and he is a damn good singer.

Scratching my head

Jeff Scott Soto, Mark Boals,Joe Lynn Turner where the vocalist from 84-88. Rising Force , Marching Out , Trilogy , Odyssey. He also used these guys later on as well.

You are going to call these guys horrible???

92- 95 he used the likes of Goran Edman on Fire & Ice in 92 , Michael Vescera his vocals are awesome, he was used on The Seventh Sign and Magnum Opus . Mats Leven on Facing the animal in 97
Doogie White was there from 2000 ish till Unleash the Fury in 2002
Still scratching my head....

Couldn't agree more. you can learn to shred in a couple of mounths (maybe not like Yngwie but shredding never the less) but to play the things Segovia can play takes years and years of constant practice.

Marching Out, of course.
And the two Rising Force song in which Jeff Scott Soto sings.

Shitty singers with Yngwie? Jeff Scott Soto, Mark Boals, Joe Lynn Turner, Mike Vescera, Mats Leven, Doogie White?

The problem in Yngwie is that he doesn't write songs, he writes masturbating stuff to show how great guitarmaster he is. So, the albums are really boring, with one interesting song here and there.

I'm not as familiar with his more modern stuff, I had already given up on him by then.

Jeff Scott Soto, and Mark Boals were terrible, even Tony Iommi scrapped an album with Soto because it was reportedly an embarrassment. Ask any Rainbow or Deep Purple fan how "great" Joe Lynn Turner is, and they'll tell you to get bent.

Yeah, Joe Lynn Turner is an AOR vocalist. No place for him in a Metal band.

Mike Vescera is good, Mats Leven is awesome!

Thats all good and fine but Rainbow finished when Dio left, when G bonnet replaced him thats when i stopped listening to them so who cares about Rainbow post Dio. Thats just me . as far as Deep purple goes the last album I listened to was Perfect Strangers in 84 . Gillan is the voice of Deep purple so trying to bring in Turner or anyone else for that matter for any deep purple project is a pointless exercise. Same could be said for Gillan when he sang for Sabbath in Born Again he even said himself that he was the worst singer Black Sabbath ever had . Sometimes shit happens......

Slaves & Masters in 1990 that was with Turner have not heard it so I cant comment
