You might want to check out the new Misery Index album.

Unless they got about twelve hundred times more brutal since I last heard them, I don't think they're exactly in the running.

Yeah it's not really brutal, it's just melodic death/grind with hardcorish vocals. A great album nontheless.

I'm suprised that no one has mentioned Internal Suffering yet. Crazy stuff.
I've tried out some things, and still have many suggestions to go through but so far The Berzerkers has been really great, brutal and fast but perhaps not number one.

Origin are among the contenders as well.

But god damned if not The Ichneumon Method is to be unbeatable, what a bloody journey that album is.

Deathgrind:

Impure - Corpses... Intense Stench
Cinerary - Rituals...
Ingurgitate - Blackest Origins
Prophecy - Foretold... Foreseen

Those are "point of no return" brutal bands, with albums that actually meet the mark. In fact, each is legendary. Other ULTRA BRUTAL DEATH GRIND acts are Retch, Liturgy, Goretrade, Severed Remains, Putrid Pile, Stickoxydal, Ingrowing, The day everything became nothing... etc...

Then, there's

Sicko-Grind (ie PornGoreShitFetishWeird-Grind)

Rompeprop - Hellcock's Pornflakes
Last Days of Humanity - Sound of rancid juices sloshing in your coffin
Squash Bowels - Anything
Malignant Tumour - Particularly, their split with the previous band
Pigsty - Return
Stoma - Scat Aficianados
Cock And Ball Torture - Opussy IV

Along with a REALLY long list of equally brutal bands who released less memorable albums. Of course, I'm missing a few.
