Well, Iron Maiden are still going strong, but i guess they cant be mention in an article with Ozzy. :lol:

All this points out is that current metal sucks donkey balls. Avenged Sevenfold?!?!? Give me a fucking break. All the really good bands wouldnt play at Ozzfest style events anyway.

And if youre into BM, your favourite band may not even play live at all. :P

Well consider the fact that Maiden is like some 10 years younger than Ozzy. We should see in ten years time.

Looking through the figures profited from Ozzfest....no wonder many bands are falling for it.

I would say most bands arent 'falling for it', more being sell-outs that already have dollar signs in their eyes, and see the opportunity for some sweeeeeeeet money.

what? didn't bands (non-headliners) have to PAY like 30.000$ to play Ozzfest?

Im not sure, but im sure most of the money goes in $haron's pocketses.

Actually what's the point of paying money to play? I'm sure they get some returns from the ticket sales etc. Either way, they're still sell outs.
