Post subject: Great Deals At CD Inzane!
PostPosted: Sat Jun 17, 2006 9:03 pm
I was checking out the clearance items over at Sensory the other day and couldn't pass up some of the deals they had going on. For $39 I got 6 CDs and one CD single. All brand new, sealed albums, too! I got the following:

Behind The Curtain - Till Birth Do Is Part for $4
Dark Moor - From Hell (CD single w/2 Non-LP Tracks) for $2.50
Dark Moor - The Gates Of Oblivion for $5
Dreamaker - Human Device for $5
Fairyland - Of Wars In Osyrhia for $5
Fifth Reason - Within Or Without for $6
Prototype - Trinity for $6

There are a ton of other great deals there and I had a ton more in my shopping cart, but decided on spending no more than $40 and this is what I got. Some shit there seems a little over-priced for "clearance" items, but there's still a ton of great metal albums for cheap, cheap prices. Definitely check it out.

Seriously, they will be getting a lot of money from me in the coming weeks! Haha. I didn't notice that Domine CD for $2.50, though. Damn!

Folks, seriously, unless all you do is download you should take advantage of these prices. This is my most recent order, I paid a full price for a few of them this time out.

Annon Vin - A New Gate - $4
Chinchilla - Madness - $2.50
Dali's Dilemma - Manifesto For Futurism $14
Domine - Dragonlord - $3
Eidolon - Nightmare World - $3
Freternia - A Nightmare Story - $5
Highlord - Medusa's Coil - $5
Karma - Inside The Eyes - $4
Lake Of Tears - Forever Autumn - $5
Last Chapter - Paths To Always - $7
NovAct - Tales From The Soul - $13
Pathos - Katharsis - $6
Raintime - Tales From Sadness - $5
Reptilian - Demon Wings (EP) - $3
Sinisthra - Last Of The Stories Of Long Lost Glories - $5
Thalion - Another Sun - $5
Unicorn - Emotional Wasteland - $17
Unicorn - Ever Since - $17

Those Unicorn CDs are Dan Swano's teenage prog-project. Totally not heavy at all, but damn good considering he was like 17 when he wrote most of these songs. His upcoming Second Sky project is a continuation of Unicorn, which is great because Unicorn is a retarded name.

Anyway, you can't beat some of those prices!

Not really my thing either, but there are some great songs. A little too soft and fluffy at times for me. Dan sent me an MP3 CD last year with all the Unicorn stuff on it, but I've been trying to get the originals for a while. Now if I could only get the original demo tapes of the other albums he put out. Doubt that'll happen, though.

Sort of. If I were a real fanboy I'd be in trouble because this guy has been on EVERYTHING! I mean, fuck, he was on Canopy's demo!! The guy has no shame! Hahaha. I could never collect everything.

I like Dan's clean vocals a lot, but he is just too sappy and AOR even with Nightingale at times for me.

A lot of Nightingale he doesn't write, people don't realize this. His brother writes a good portion of the Nightingale stuff. In fact, the new album, White Darkness, was completely written by Tom, not Dan. I love Nightingale either way. Have you heard the Odyssey EP?

That Sinisthra CD has the singer from Amorphis on it. I'm sitting here listening to it and couldn't place the guy, then he went into rock mode and it hit me. I checked it out, sure enough, he's the new Amorphis singer.

Oh, no, the dude on the Sinisthra CD I bought is the new singer in Amorphis.

Subject change! Great deals at CD Inzane, which is awesome because these fuckers are totally over-priced normally!

Lots of $5 and $6 CDs! I just ordered Dark Empire - Distant Tides ($5) and Prototype - Continuum ($6).

Suspyre - The Silvery Image is only $6! :dio: GO!!

Prototype rules. Hard to find, though. I found Trinity at Sensory for $6 with the bonus tracks, and I found their Cloned EP at Sentinel Steel for $5.88. I've been contemplating buying Continuum at full price from somewhere online for a while now. Glad I didn't. =)
