Skullflower's pretty br00tal. Noise is the genre to go to if you want br00tal shiznit. How about the Deathcore and Terrorcore genres that Dance Music has to offer? It far more evil than the Venetian Snare's harshest Breakcore breakbeats. Try Delta 9, D'Spyre, Hamunaptra, Speedranch or Rotterdam Terror Squad.

Heard of Skullflower (great band), but the Deathcore I shall check out.

Also some pretty brutal but at the same time groovy and technical albums are:

Severed Savior-Brutality Is Law (name is quite descriptive)
Visceral Bleeding-Remnants Revived

Pleasure to Kill by Kreator is one of the most brutal records ever IMO. It's not tuned down to Z and doesn't have constant blast beats, but the atmosphere is really violent.

As for brutal in the technical blasty DM sense, try Suffocation.

For really brutal BM, try Blasphemy (gods!) and The Oath of Black Blood by Beherit.

I agree, stuff like Under the Guillotine is manic.

Btw ill need to find the thread in the SMN forums about the most brutal bands out there, those guys knew what they were talking about.

Better not do that, it really sucks. But it is damn brutal...

Rotterdam Terror Corps is NS-dancemusic right? (?NSDM, haha?) I heard this song by them with a fast dance beat and the only lyrics were some guy saying 'sieg heil' approximately 2000 times...

Another brutal album is:
Gorgasm-Masticate To Dominate
i know the album title and the name of the band are not what i call interesting and original but believe me they fucking rock. (the vocals are not guttural.)

I have a live bootleg from them. It's quite nonsensical, but kind of fun. Well, I'm always stoned.

Anything by Discordance Axis. They split up because their music, at high volumes, was giving their guitarist seizures at shows.

Different kind of heaviness that most of the death metal bands mentioned here. More chaotic than traditional death metal brutality.

Dr. Shrinker - Grotesque Wedlock will smash your skull in, but that's mostly because of the terrible production. It's a case when bad production enhances the music.

Velvet Cacoon - Genevieve. For some reason i find this album literally heavy, as if it could crush me just listening to it, as well as having a fucking insanely delirious atmosphere (obviously drug influenced, as the band themselves admit)

tTruly brutal insanity. Last night i listened to it and it made me feel sick and want to vomit. Powerful :)

Since I first listened to Suffocation - Effigy of the Forgotten with my brothers on an old record player back in 1990, nothing will take its place regarding brutality. Just the way the riffs and snare are played together killed me from the word go. Still one of my favourite death albums.

Well i remember that previous to the release of this album, one guy from Roadrunner (i think) said that they have signed the most Brutal band ever, Suffocation, this statement may mean nothing now but back in the day it made huge impact among the Metalheads, i was still a kid but my cousin and all of his friends were really expecting to hear it, they were all talking about it, so when i think of the word Brutal this album also comes to my mind, altough i didnt liked when i first heard it (i was only 10 years old), is still a very good album.

Unless they got about twelve hundred times more brutal since I last heard them, I don't think they're exactly in the running.
