Pardon me if there's already a thread for this somewhere.

I suddenly got the feeling for something out of this world insane and brutal music, but there are still gaps in my music collection when it comes to this.
So I ask thy, what is THE most brutal album ever made. I mean stone cold in yo mamas face heavy stuff yo. Far from Slipknot.
I'm guessing the only music genres that could qualify are grind, death and black metal. But who knows what I've missed.
My vote would go to either Hate Eternal - I, Monarch, Cryptopsy - Whisper Supremacy or Axis of Perdition - The Ichneumon Method (And Less Welcome Techniques).

So ye scurvy and harsh men, what'ave I missed?

I'll look up Testament, but son, my grandma is more brutal than Slayer, and she is since long gone. Not saying they are bad, just not tough enough :)

Strapping Young Lad - City

or Converge - Petitioning the Empty Sky, just because listening to it gives me a headache, and I've heard a crapload of ear-rapist music.

or Meshuggah - I, beccause it kicks more ass than a big ass kicking machine.

I don't actually have any albums by them but from the songs I have on my comp, Brodequin is about the most brutal thing I've heard.

Krieg - Destruction Ritual. (or really any early Krieg) God-damned brutal BM!

Leviathan maybe, more pure insanity than brutality.

Depends on what you find brutal.

Personally I think bands such as Brodequin and Devourment are probably the most brutal bands out there, but they suck, so I dunno....:D

If you want brutality:
Disgorge (USA)-Consume The Forsaken and Parallels Of Infinite Torture
Decrepit Birth-And Time Begins
Origin-Informis Infinitas Inhumanitas
Scrambled Defuncts-Hackled In Gore

Jesus. Slayer?! Daniele came closest, although I'd nominate some gabba like Venetian Snares. Or anything by Merzbow. Noise, baby, noise.

Skullflower's pretty br00tal. Noise is the genre to go to if you want br00tal shiznit. How about the Deathcore and Terrorcore genres that Dance Music has to offer? It far more evil than the Venetian Snare's harshest Breakcore breakbeats. Try Delta 9, D'Spyre, Hamunaptra, Speedranch or Rotterdam Terror Squad.
