I can't believe nobody mentioned the all-mighty Slayer in this thread. Here are but a few of their war songs.

1. War Ensemble (surprise, surprise!)

2. Behind The Crooked Cross

3. Bitter Peace

4. To some extent, Angel Of Death (hey, it's about the Holocaust, isn't it?).

5. Blood Red

6. Killing Fields

Etc, etc.

Here are some more war songs.

Exodus - War Is My Shephard

Metallica - Blackened

Testament - Low

Anthrax - One Man Stands

Iced Earth - Most of The Glorious Burden

etc.

In the case of Ensiferum I have to make a special mention to "Into Battle", one of the best battle songs ever, IMO.

War Ensemble from Slayer of course.

SPORT THE WAR, WAR SUPPORT
THE SPORT IS WAR, TOTAL WAR,
WHEN VICTORY'S A MASSACRE
THE FINAL SWING IS NOT A DRILL
IS HOE MANY PEOPLE I CAN KILL

I cant't believe it took more than 10 posts for someone to mention this one.
