I thought I'd give something back to everyone in this thread by recommending Gory Blister. They're a technical/melodic death band (somebody compared them to later Death, which is pretty close) who are a lot more intelligent than their band name would imply. The album I've heard, Skymorphosis, is pretty cool because its a concept album and all the songs are pretty short (around 3 minutesish) but they flow into one another really well.

Dimension F3H are pretty awesome, they remind me a lot of Devin Townsend's solo stuff... but mixed with like Arcturus or something.

If you liked the Vintersorg i would recommend headcontrolsystem. Good poppish-metal.
