Iron Maiden has always been horrible and this will be no exception. As the Blabbermouth review of Brave New World so aptly put it, they need to get with the times and add rap to their music.

I have yet to purchase or listen to an entire album by Iron Maiden, but for the sake of their legacy, I hope they dont' pull a St. Anger.

Only one 4 minute song ! This album will be way too long for it to be good.

Many 7-9 min tracks... I´m worried when they refer their epic songs
to Paschendale instead of... Ancient Mariner or Alexander...as they should. Feels like they´ve lowered their standards. Only my humble opinion of course.

Iron Maiden have always had long songs, that shouldnt be worrying at all.

Also, ADRIAN SMITH has a lot of writing credits. This = good sign!

Interesting, how people can bag an album that hasn't even been released yet. How do you guys form your opinions?
I, for one, can't wait to get the new album.

Length of songs, song titles, previous works, there are many ways to judge an album before ever hearing it!

Man, they've really made alot of long songs on this album... I hope they pull it off since they've made some amazing epic songs earlier.

Was this supposed to be a conceptual album? I seem to recall it being mentioned a few months ago...

besides what Reaper said, you're already thinking it'll be a good album (unless you like to buy crap albums) :P

oviously i'll have to hear the whole thing, i just said that i'm not a fan of many long songs. no.

It's not like it's going to be any good. Seventh Son is their last great album and the rest range from mediocre to downright crap.

If you can't wait to get it, you assume it'll be good right? What is the difference between saying it'll be good and saying it'll be bad before you've heard it?

Edit: Oh wait, some people said the same thing...

You suck dude. Seriously.

I'm not saying this is gonna be a good album. But I'm confident it's at least decent. Yes, ever since Seventh SOn, Maiden have released a few mediocore albums. But that ended with Bruce's return. Of course Bruce isn't as remarkable as he used to. Think of it guys, age is catching up. And they're probably one of the most heavily touring band around. A lot of things have to be taken into consideration.

But however bad an album is, Maiden have always been an entertaining band on stage. No doubt about that. When it comes to interactivity with the audience, Maiden owns.

And for all you people and your lousy commentsand rants, try to think a little bit. However mediocre a Maiden album is, they don't suck as much as you know who (2 of them in fact, figure yourself).

This is going to be an excellent album, you will all see. And Seventh Son of A Seventh Son is the best Maiden Album.
