It is good, real good, not up to Enlighten the Darkness but close IMO. Hopefully if I like it you will never buy it and miss out though.

I think he's implying that he hopes you ignore his praise of the album out of spite, thus missing out on a great album. This is obviously all because you were a big meanie to him.

1. I don't like you

2. Everytime I say something you say the opposite.

3. I would hope if I said I like Angle Dust some fucker like you would refuse to buy the album so I never have to admit we like the same things.....

Clear enough Gollum boy?

or what Ken said fat boy with hot GF if you like the nice version. I think you should change your screen name to that btw

First of all you have horrible grammar. Second, it's a shame you only read my posts about the bands you don't like. I'll bet you'll come to find that we like a lot of the same stuff. Angel Dust included.

And, fat? What makes you think I'm fat? Is it that picture I posted a while back in the faces thread? I'm 145 lbs. dude. And yes my fiancé is hot. How about yours? Is she good looki... oh yeah... you're an old sad lonely pathetic loser who gets kicks from talking shit on a metal forum while dreaming of dudes having sex with each other in the butt and then pretends he likes chicks but actually doesn’t b/c he likes the wiener and getting spray farts in his mouth while asking his mom for money poopy diapers butt flakes.

On the basis of my first listen: very good! Now that I have all of their "Mk 2" albums, it seems they had a definite progression from record to record. This one sounds more like Border of Reality than the last two, but with some of the dark melancholy of Enlighten the Darkness starting to creep in.

Agreed. Leee got owned, or some shit. Hahahaha. And yeah, NESS is 145lbs, but he's also a midget.

Anyway, I just bought for $9.99 each:

Primal Fear - Devil's Ground
Primal Fear - Black Sun
Primal Fear - Jaws Of Death

So far I've listened to Jaws Of Death once, and I listened to a good number off of Black Sun on the way to work. Both do not seem to be as heavy as Nuclear Sun, though. I haven't listened to Devil's Ground yet, though, but considering Black Sun came out before it I'll assume it's going to be more mid-paced than Nuclear Sun, right? So far it seems that all but Nuclear Sun is more like Seven Seals than implied by others.

Still, great band! I can't believe I've sat on them for so long. Am I missing anything? I need to check their site out in a bit when it slows down here at work.

Holy shit!! I love Scheepers' MBM (Michael Bolton Mullet) in the booklet of Jaws Of Death! Hahahaha. What an asshole.

Would the real Ralf Scheepers please stand up?

From ImpaleDistro, a small Finnish distribution run by a guy i know.

Here's his homepage. The lists might not be really up to date, he updates the page pretty rarely.

Thankfully he went for the bald Halford look lately, that will probably turn you on more Ken. Honestly I think you probably need 3 PF albums as much as I love them and that is the first one, Black Sun and Seven Seals.

As for being a lonely loser, yeah, lately at least for like the last 3 or 4 months. That is why I live vicarously through pictures on Metalreviews.com.

I only need the self-titled Primal Fear album and the Horrorscope EP and my collection is complete (I think). It's odd (in response to what was written in the Seven Seals thread), I find Nuclear Fire to be the heaviest of them all, the rest are all very similar to Seven Seals, I think. I don't think they've changed much really. They have some faster songs on the earlier albums, but it's all relatively close to the same style. Nuclear Fire seems, to me, to be the fastest and heaviest of the five I now have.

Why didn't Scheepers try out for Judas Priest? He sounds way better on these albums than the Gamma Ray albums, it's almost like a different singer. I think he does Halford better than Owens does!

EDIT: I just stumbled across this:

Formed by Ralf Scheepers and members of Sinner (Ger) after he left Gamma Ray to (unsuccesfully) audition for Judas Priest.

How did he not get that gig? It must have been that fucking MBM.

I think they knew he was way talented and went for someone like Ripper that was unknown so they could do a different sound and not Painkiller mach II, III and IV. Plus he prob wanted to really be in the band and not just a paid gun like Ripper as well

Yeah, I wrote that. :) He never succeeded because Priest never actually had real auditions. They got a short list of potential singers (I think they eventually had it narrowed down to less than ten, including Ralf) and were set to test them out when someone gave them a video of Ripper performing in his Priest tribute band. They got Ripper on a plane, performed a few songs with him and then told all the other candidates they would not be required.

That guy from Casus Belli was supposedly on the short list, too. That's unfortunate. I like Ripper and he does one hell of a Halford, but this Primal Fear just blows most of Priest's shit away.
