yeah mate, just ordered actually.... cant wait for it to arrive!

The demo of "City Of Armageddon" (I think that's the name) sounds killer. I wish they'd recorded a studio version of that one.

I got my version of this in Korea, the booklet is so thick the jewelcase is a half-size bigger than normal jewelcases! I've never seen anything like it before. It's like a jewelcase and a half, anyone else ever seen a CD case like this?

Helloween - Master of The Rings (Expanded Edition)

Been looking for MoTR for awhile now, one of my favorite Helloween albums and then today I see this version with an extra disc with 7 songs and only the price of 1 new CD, not to shabby.

I'm pretty sure they re-released all the albums up to Better Than Raw this way. It pisses me off because I have most, if not all, the bonus tracks from the import versions and singles and the 3CD version of Treasure Box. But, damn, I wouldn't mind that remastered sound. :(

If you gave me a list I could def buy for you in Taiwan all the import ones. I think all the ones I saw there recently are remastered Japanese editions.

Well, I have all the albums except Pink Bubbles Go Ape. And the remastered versions are available here, the problem is that I'd essentially be paying $15.99 for a better sound since I have all the bonus tracks already.

Thanks for the offer, though.

I can see that being annoying, but luckily the only Helloween albums I owned up until now has been all three Keepers. The stores just didnt carry any other ones, but yesterday they had the Expanded MoTR and Time of The Oath, which is what Im gonna buy next time.

Interesting. I wonder why that's the only one I have like that? I bought a lot of metal albums in Korea. Still cool, though. I also have a special edition of Devin Townsend's Terria that was Korea-only release and it's in a DVD case. Pretty cool.

yeah Korea would release on the DVD case more. Japanese pressings some of them have that funky jewel case. My Jap pressed Candlemass's Ancient Dreams is very cool too. Only gripe is that the CDs are pricey... with the exchange rate and all.

heheh what i like most about those inlays is that there's almost always detailed written history/biography of the bands in their native languages. They also compare the sound to different bands and give recommendations.

Taiwan is the same way, especially Magnum records. That is a cool idea. I would have never bought Seraphim if my then GF hadn't read the whole thing off the back to me.

Yeah, I was in the Air Force from 1995-2003. I spent a year in Kunsan from 1999-2000. I fucking loved it. Of course, the country is a shithole, the base was a shithole, but I lucked out and there was a great group of people on that rotation and we just had a blast for a year straight. It was killer.

That's news to me, most of the Taiwan import cds that come in to my country Malaysia are shitty bootleg quality pressings.

Korea's a nice place........ but the people weird me out sometimes.

My second Primal Fear CD:

Primal Fear - Nuclear Fire

The first three songs are great! Haven't listened further, though. Lots of Halford worship on this one, eh?
