There is no punk influence in COF:s music. But image-wise i can see some similarities between them and Good Charlotte.

Maybe he meant 'punked-UP', meaning made more catchy in a rock n' roll sense, not punk as in The Clash.

Fuck yes! Another sweet album to look forward to. I'm probably the biggest CoF fan around on this site and I'm damn proud of it. As far as the music goes anyway, I care little for Dani’s makeup or appearance - which tend to bother many folks I understand.

Anyway, as Damnation and a Day was discussed, I'll once again quote Jay from his review here on ths site: "Is Damnation and a Day perfect? I believe it is."
Amen. Nothing sounds quite like it. It's a unique masterpiece in my opinion, mainstream or not.

I somehow get the feeling I'm repeating myself...

I watched the video for 'From the Cradle to Enslave' and im sure now that Dani Filth is aware he's a sell-out image metal fag, and doesnt care.

Perhaps. Sometimes I wish he would explain that it's just an image for the group, just like Lordi dress like cute monsters.

lol, ummm Money. Yeah the last really awesome CoF album was def Cruelty. 1st 4 are great Metal albums. Median was a suck fest (except for Her Ghost in the Fog), DaaD.......ho hum, newest one was pretty damn good.

Thank you! People who don't like a band based on what they look like are just as bad as the 14 year old girls that cream themselves over Dani's girlishness. I don't give a damn what a band looks like, as long as the music is good.
