I always thought Wish You Were Here was overrated but other than that, yeah I'm also a bit of a fanboy.

I agree, it is a good album; but I don't dig the sound of it as much as I do of their earlier work.

That album would be a lot better without the gospel-ly background singers that David Gilmour liked using. I like the melancholy atmosphere of the post-Waters albums though.

The Piper at the Gates of Dawn would have to be my favorite. RIP Syd.
