So what is the consensus on Therion? I'm listening to Lemuria right now and I have to say the death metal parts fucking slay. I even dig the operatic vocals and what not.

If you haven't heard this band and like symphonic/operatic/death metal you need to hear them.

I'll upload a song if someone wants.

They're killer! Is the right forum for them? I just realized I wouldn't know where to put them. They have some death, some doom, some power metal, they've got it all. Totally killer band, although I admit to not ever hearing the early, early death metal shit. I intend to as I slowly find those albums.

Yeah, I really had no idea what forum to put them in either. All I know is that they kick ass.

I liked the "To Mega Therion" song too but I never really cared for Therion, I heard most of their albums and none of them really got my interest.

I've got Vovin and Secret of the Runes, as well as CDRs of Lemuria and Sirius B.

I definitely prefer the albums with lead vocals on them, but there's a time and a place for the more symphonic stuff too.

Yes. I think she played keyboards for them live as well (but I might just be thinking of her time in Dimmu).

I didn't know she could play keyboard

I meet her a few years ago, she was with Herman Li, both cool people.

Yeah, she plays keyboard. Hansi from BG also sings on Deggial. Remember when "Fly" supposed leaked and it was that song? Hahaha. I was like, "Man, this really sounds like Therion! COOL!" Hahaha.

Vovin is my fav. album by them. The song "The Rise Of Sodom And Gomorrah" is also one of my fav. and the best songs they've written. I haven't listened to them for a long time now.

Is there going to be another Demonoid ? Riders Of The Apocalypse kicked ass.

EDIT: Now that I gave it a thought my fav. album is Theli, Vovin is a close second.
