HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!
Get off your high horse, dickwad. Stop lying to yourself and admit that no matter how much you've grown to hate it, YOU NEED METAL TO KEEP YOUR BIG HEAD ABOVE THE WATER.
Instant Clarity was decent, everything after it sucked (except Place Vendome, but that wasn't your solo thing anyway), and this new piece of crapola marks where you hit rock bottom.
"You need to reach new people", yeah, need to get away from there shitheaded Metal fans who just don't have the mental capabilities to understand how great your dime-a-dozen pop garbage actually is, and incidentally made you a wealthy man by buying those albums you did with Helloween (oh, the horror!) as well as those who happen to include your hypocritical (and presumably well paid) guest appearances, right?
At least make another enjoyable Place Vendome record, or is it too Metal for you? Get over this pretentious bullshit, or get your bitter ass out of music as a whole once and for all.
...wow, venting is good fun, I should do it more often
