Seriously though I agree, even if I find Cristina to be an excelent singer. If the singer fit and complement the music then everything is ok.

I agree. I didnt like his vocals on this album. And i didnt like it that has more vocal duties on this album, its one of the reasons i am disappointed with Karmacode.

How excactly does the "guy" from Blind Guardian suck? Jesus Man, are you sure you heard them? Especially Nightfall in Middle Earth? Come on now, lets not get crazy on here.

Well, it was an extreme example, but if you played some BG for a non metalhead, their initial reaction would not be, "OMG what a voice!" It takes a bit of time to get used to...

Well, I'm not sure if she's really that emotional. There isn't so much personality to my ears. (I don't like Tarja's woice either)

By a long way my favourite female vocalist is Anneke of the Gathering fame. And she is also hotter than Christina.

HE DOES NOT, AT ALL. Man, everytime I let this go you make some crazed statement like that He growls somewhat on the 1st two, and even on the last two he uses a deeper more distinct "goth" male voice, on this one he reallys does have that whiny, emoish thing going or something and he can't do it. Come on man, listen to the EP, right now and tell me he sounds the same. You are nuts. lol

Look you want good examples of how to sing for a Goth Metal bands. Look at the guys from To/Die/For, Entwine, Charon, Darkseed and Beseech. Then listen to nut job on this album. Hell he was decent on the last 4. I know i am not that deaf.

I don't know why anyone is really even messing with LC anymore anyways, in the 4 years it took them to put out the crap, Beseech took their crown anyways and actually still remember they play Goth rock/Metal.

Serious, if you want some good Male/Female stuff that is Goth Rock/Metal Beseech owns, Black Emotions, Souls Highyway, Drama (kind of a dissapointment) and Sunless Days (great return to form) own current LC

He sounds emo? God, you REALLY hate this album. He sounds the same. His vocals have not changed, not has Scabbia's. The music has changed. That is all. If anything, his vocals are mixed to low.

Oh, she definately is! "Unleashed Memories" gives me goosebumps when she does that low -> high thing. Then again, I get teary in that bit in Free Willy when he jumps over the kid to escape from the evil gits, so I'm hardly the best judge...

And agreed that Anneke's good as well, but hers is more uplifting, whilst Christina just lets me wallow for a bit.

And there's no way she's better looking than Miss Scabbia! :o I'll admit she's got a better name, though.

Yes way! But she's not as photogenic in my opinion. So Christina looks better in magazines etc, but when you see her in the flesh Anneke is much more attractive than you're expecting her to be. I think CS is slightly overrated.

As for vocal ability... *struggles to contain rage at someone that doesn't share his opinion on AvG*

Looking at it practically, Anneke's dropped a sprog already...

Haha, well my opinion is that AvG is a lot better than CS

I haven't seen CS in the flesh, it's just my prediction that if I were to she wouldn't be so attractive in my eyes. She's nice, but A just seems classier 8)

Apart from any suspicions on my part ("Are they really them, or just lookalikes?" "How much did he pay them?" etc), that sounds acceptable...

They're both very pretty in a normal setting. Obviously neither are as good-looking as they appear in magazines and whatnot, no one is. Because they're photographed so much, though, they both have their fugly moments. No big deal.

Liv Kristine is hotter and sings better and sexier then both Scabbia or Annke. Although Nighttime Birds and the way she sings on that album and Mandylion does get me hard their newer shit leave me somewhat cold.

I hate the new lacuna coil because it is shit. I seriously urge all on here to worhsip Beseech instead. Especially Black Emotions and Souls Highway if you want to hear how good Male/Female shit is done.

you know damn well his voice isn't the same as on the the ep and the other 2 albums so stop making crap up. I swear i will put voice samples up here if you don't clean out your ears and listen.

Agreed, but after Black Emotions and Souls Highway, it all turns to shit for Beseech. Drama was average and their latest is pretty bad
