I'm listening right now to their latest, The Ghost Album. It's my first encounter with Wyrd, and I knew them to be a black metal band. That's what I had heard about them, that's their description on metal-archives. But The Ghost album is doom death to my ears, and a very high quality doom death for that matter, reminds me of Swallow The Sun's The Morning Never Came more than anything else. The question is: is something wrong with my hearing, or has this band forsaken the black for doom?
