You know what, Hlidskjalf has been growing on me lately, yeah its ambient shit but it's good ambient shit, its sill very Burzum in essence.


Give it a shot everybody, its really good and totally underrated.

i have in fact been considering giving it a spin :P .. or even buy it on vinyl... don't want the first ambien midi shit, though :lol:

What? Ambient can be good. Veiled Allusions, Jääportit, Equimathorn, Vinterriket.... maybe I should also consider Hlidskjalf.

Hvis, by a fucking mile. All his stuff is acceptable, but Hvis fucking goes down as one of my top 3 BM albums I've ever heard, easily. Those 4 songs PWN almost every other song he's ever done, but not completely in every case. That's just nitpicking on my part, though, this rambling on about what's what, and what not.

Yeah, Hlidskjalf is on my to buy list, along with three million other cds.

And with the new burzum, i wonder what hell do, because everything he has done has been a little different, with its own personality if you will. So, will it follow the style of one of his existing albums, or do something completely different?

I cant wait to hear what he comes up with when he gets out!

I think I'll go with Filosofem, with Hvis close, specially because of Det Som Engang Var and Tomhet, which are amazing.
