Yes, the CD is right now available in France. You need to pound on the idiots at Adipocere for now, at least until a new distro is found, or mailorder direct from Sonic Age or other European site.

I've checked the Adipocere catalog but couldn't find your cd... do you have a direct link to it ? otherwise, I'll try Sonic Age but it's much easier ordering in France for me...

 what about Hansi Kürsch ???

You'd have to e-mail Adipocere or have your local store call them. But from what others have told me Adipocere only care about death metal so until Sonic Age gets a better distributor either order from them or maybe a German or UK site???

You can order from the UK at www.phydos.com or Germany at this link (which has the 30 second samples of all the 13 songs on the CD)

http://www.musicline.de/de/product/Over ... 5447000049

Please let me know what you do!

Adipocere don't care for just BM, they got some of the best Black metal around, although I do not know about the other genres. You might still be right there. For my entry here: Floor Jansen (After Forever).

believe me Gast, I've checked their catalog, M.E. is right... all they CARE for is BM with maybe a little grind/death... it's fine since it's their business but the other genres seriously lack following... :?

The worst thing is that they agree to distribute a label like Sonic Age, which is fully true metal, yet don;t show the releases on their site nor do they bother to reply to e-mail inquiries.

Its like they don't want to make money...

That's usually the problem with a BM label, they don't want to make money, therefore they should stay out of the commercial genres IMHO. It's pretty strange that they only act like this on non-extreme metal by the way...

There's definitely a few real good clean singers out there, but after some soul searching and heavy drinking, I've narrowed it down (if you consider ten guys a narrow field):

1. Hansi Kursch
2. Tom Englund
3. Bruce Dickinson
4. Khan
5. Warrell Dane
6. Rob Halford
7. Dio
8. Matt Barlow
9. Russell Allen
10. Dan Swano

Yeah it's in order, but that's just my personal preference.

He's an acquired taste. I don't mind him, but I'm not a huge fan.

I don't think he's a great vocalist either though he's the perfect match for Nevermore's music which makes him great in Nevermore ! I was way less enthusiast with his high pitched vocals in Sancuary so I'd say he's grown older and turned out being better :D

edit: added Daniel Gildenlöw

This list should be particularly interesting for some as most of my top 10 come from relatively unknown bands.

The top 10 list:

Midnight (Crimson Glory - most talented ever)

Urban Breed (Tad Morose - just recently made this list, bit of an aquired taste)

John Dobbs (Radakka - amazing versatile all-around voice, perhaps the best?)

Lou Falco (Wicked Maraya - technically a dubious entry, but a truly unique versatile voice nonetheless)

Clark Brown (Geezer - young new talent)

Roy Khan (Conception, Kamelot - mesmerizing...)

Mathew Barlow (Iced Earth - also a great talent and versatile singer)

Russel Allen (Symphony X - great emotion)

Blackie Lawless (WASP - mainly for his 'The Crimson Idol' work, great emotion)

Carl Albert (Vicious Rumors - one of the best Power Metallers ever)

Sean Peck (Cage - technically amazing, and very promising singer, very very good, an aquired taste though)

----------------------------------------------------------------
The rest:

Ken Nardi (Anacrusis - i would sooo much like to include him in the top 10, but his style is very unconventional)

Damian Wilson (Star One, Threshold - smooth voice, great emotion - need to hear more)

Gerd Salewski (Chroming Rose - did a great job on 'Pressure')

Lance King (ex. Balance of Power, Pyramize - better version of the DT vocalist, basically, similar to John K too)

King Diamond - (Many will scream NOOO but the man has style, period. )

John K (Balance of Power, Biomechanical - didn't give him enough time, but sounds great so far)

Anders Zackrisson (Nocturnal Rites - I loved his early work on 'In a Time of Blood and Fire')

Andy Pyke (Marshall Law - great heavy metal vocalist who grows on you)

D.C. Cooper (Royal Hunt, Silent Force - high pitched singer)

Nils. K. Rue (Pagan's Mind - Great unique voice, need to hear their third album!)

Daniel Gildenlöw (Pain of Salvation - didn't hear enog)

If it was a best vocalist list i would add people like Chuck Billy of Testament (the ultimate growl) but since i don't consider him "clean" he doesn't make this list.

I'll be sure to update if i think of more entries...

My favorite clean singer is John Arch. His vocals on the early Fates Warning albums and his new EP are just music to my ears.

Ah yes... Fabio is an amazing singer. He's a very varied vocalist and that makes me enjoy him tremendously. He sings in many styles, but concerning clean singing there are some better than him:)
