This band is actually the thrash band Occult (they just recently changed their name). Occult's Elegy For the Weak album was completely awesome, so I'm looking forward to hearing this. Nice review, Al.

I'll check out some of their newer stuff (now that Brahm_K has enlightened me) but the lack of solos sounds severely disapointing, unless it works-like Bolt Thrower who use them sparingly.

I'm listening to this album right now, and it's damn great. It's a tasty rythm & riff feast, and I don't have the slightest problem with the voice, I really like it. And I didn't even notice the lack of solos, until I read the review. The songs flow very well without them.
Very refreshing album, to my ears.
