Hey Eyesore, a couple of months ago you asked me if I wanted to collaborate with you on a Dragon Warrior song. Well I started writing the guitar parts for it on Audacity. I could send them to you and voi la. we have a song! Tenative Title is "Hurtspell of the Wolflord".

As a big DW fan I really want to hear this song when its done. What kind of style were you planning for it? Some sort of Power/thrash mix?

Well if Eyesore is involved it would probably be power/thrash with rap

We may have a problem, the Wolflord doesm't do the Hurt Spell, it does the Stop Spell.

I'm am aware of this my good man, the primary purpouse of the song is the mystical education of the Wolflord propelling him to new heights of paladinship. i realize he is a wolf lord and not a paladin.....yet.

Anyway the riffs will basically be power metal riffs, played in the thrashiest way possible. So they will be very fast and involve a lot of scales in them. Except Agent Steel X10.

This was just some shit I came up with and recorded in about ten minutes. There's two of them so tell me which one you like better.

The main riff in that "random riffing" clip was best.

I like the first one better I think it has a more melancholy feel to it, plus it doesnt have that stereo type power metal sound like the random riffing.

I still like the Dragon Warrior clip better. It has more feeling to it. The random riffing sounds like something Liege Lord would have done. Its good, especially the solo portion, but like I said....its too power metal.

I like the random riff, I think the solo ruined it. The other one was good, but I think the random riff is cooler.

well if the random riffing had been recorded properly and played well the solo would have sounded much cooler. It is very difficult to play, both the regular solo and the harmony for it are a real finger excercize.
