For as big as America as, it sure doesn't come up with many great metal bands. Obviously it is strongest in brutal death but that's about it. Of course in a country of 300 million bands like: Agalloch, Leviathan, Nile, Nevermore, Suffocation and Morbid Angel are going to exist.
