I have come across 2 new bands, one of them I have heard before the other I have not. They are Frightmare and Rumpelstiltskin Grinder, I have heard Frightmare (you can download four songs from their website). I really like Frightmare, they are a mixture thrash death black metalcore and punk. With really cool solos and IMO great vocals that are always changing. First they sound like typical old school death growls, then they sound like metalcore shouts, then black metal shrieks (which are my favourite), and ogre like grunts. It's crazy when he sounds like the ogre, I have never heard anything like this before. They have released two albums called Bringing Back the Bloodshed and Midninght Murder Mania. Very influenced by old 80's slasher flicks. (mainly Friday the 13th, they have two songs named after it).

Now for Rumpelstiltskin Grinder has released one album called Buried In Your Frontyard, and I was just wondering if nyone has heard them.

I have Rumple and it is pretty good. If you like Modern thrash metal with a hardcore sounding vocalists (note: only similarities in voice/youth not hardcore sounding music!) then you will like the album. It is thrashy and heavy, but nothing we have not heard before. You need to get a recommendation from someone other than (a power metal fan); but i would give it an 83 if i had to score it off a the few listens i gave it.
Cool album cover for sure!

Why ask such a tough Question! I guess Spiritual Healing because the clean production for death metal at the time was way ahead of its time. Actually, some do not like the basic catchy hooks and cleanliness of the production to this day, but for me It is the reason I vote for it above the others. That Question needs to have its own topic (make it Happen!) because I am curious as well. All Quality albums :)

I keep seeing people rave about Frightmare but they don't do anything for me.

No interest in Rumplestiltskin Grinder.
