It's true. I've already undone the top 3 buttons of my shirt.

THis is fucking dissapointing. What the hell has happened to Drudkh ? This isn't shit, but compared the AA and TSR this is mediocre.

I'd say give it time. It may just be a harder shell to crack.

I really wanna hear it. Hope they start sending the orders out soon.

That was my exact first reaction. I can only stress patience. But really, we should have expected a letdown after Swan Road. It just doesn't get much better than that album.

I'll focus on the positive. Track 5, "eternity" starts out with surprisingly heavy sound and lots of double bass while the track ends with a great repetion of subtle minor key melodies in the classic Drudkh tradition. Great song.

Are you sure? I'm playing it for the first time now and it seems pretty damn good...

It's very good, it grew on me but I agree that it isn't as good as TSR, that album was close to perfection, this one has its flaws.

I agree. I'm doing a review of this which is going to be pretty positive. This record seems to be lot more emotive and passionate than the Swan Road, And more interesting than AA.

And AA is more emotive and passionate than this, wouldn't you say ?

I couldn't choose between them! I guess this and AA are the most emotional records, but I think this one just has more interesting music- thanks mainly to the extra lead guitar parts I think. I love them! The lead melody that arrives about 2.40 into track 2 is just

The decision to put leads into their music was genious. I was afraid that their sound might get dry after 3 albums but they perfectly renewed themselves while staying pretty much the same.

I couldn't get into it. Although I will still give it a few more spins. What are their older albums like compared to this? I absolutely love the acoustic pieces but there just isn't enough of them. I could go for a whole album of it.

Look into Autumn Aurora or the Swan Road. More acoustic breaks in both.

I haven't listened to this one enough yet, to pass my final judgement, but so far I think that this is a great record. It is not as spiritual as Autumn Aurora but neither was The Swan Road. They have managed to retain their unique, slightly psychedelic and atmospheric black metal feeling and at the same time made quite a progression in the way it is generated. I don't really understand the negativity about this release. In my opinion it is on par with The Swan Road and because of the lack of 'tranquillity' slightly inferior to Autumn Aurora and Forgotten Legends.. So far I'd say it will end up on a score of at least 90% (which is very much on my scale) and probably as one of the highlights of this year.
