Can't think of anything similar but you should get Icon next.

All Paradise Lost albums after this one are similar, although this album retains much more of their early doom-death style.

Ummm no.....One Second, Host and Believe in Nothing sound nothing like Draconian times at all.

you might dig Darkseed both Give me Light and Spellcraft for some of the Draconian Times Vibe.

There's really nothing like Draconian Times. I consider it the jewel of their discography. A very special and unique album in the world of metal.

Don't listen to Eyesore. Like leee says, One Second, Host and Believe in Nothing (and I'll add Symbol of Life) are nothing like Draconian Times, and are quite mediocre albums, to say the least. Last year's album, self titled, is a lot better, and maybe somewhat reminiscent of DT, but frankly it can't even touch DT. But if you really want to buy new period albums, get the self titled.

As for the old ones, like Kathaarian said, get Icon. I consider it their greatest album besides DT, and I'm pretty sure you'll like it - you'll see why after you'll have listened to it.

Shades of God and Gothic, though not as good as Icon, are still worth a listen and maybe even a buy, if you manage to listen to them keeping in mind the period they were released in. Very influential albums, that's for sure.

I rekon Icon is better than Draconian Times. More rounded and consistent. Although i prefer the newer sound of Paradise Lost over their original sound. Symbol Of Life and their latest album are their best 2 IMO, remember i prefer their newer sound.
