I know this is not even a metal album, but I put it in the "Thrash/Death/Black Forum" anyway because of the band who released it. Anyway, hit or miss?

For me a Hit. Probably my favorite Opeth record right now (I don't care what the "Tr00-metalers" have to say).

Then I guess I shouldn't talk about how lame it is.

I vote neither. I'm in the middle on this one. I really enjoyed "Windowpane", but towards the end of the cd I was pretty bored.

I may be ignorant but I know Opeth is better than Porcupine Tree or any other hippie shit like that, at least it's metal.

Orchid is pretty bad. Some good moments here and there, but not enough to make it a decent album.
