ah, it's the same with a lot of more recent bands, I feel.. the current idea behind extreme progressive is to combine the catchiest moments of several different genres and add harshness, etc.

frown. gimme Meshuggah over that :D

I know what you mean, but if they do it well it's good enough for me. Meshuggah still hold the crown as far as I'm concerned, I'll have to book myself a review for them there...
