Anyone have any allusions to the next iteration from CC? I've only heard "The Time to Kill is Now", and Fisher still seems to bellow out that same forced vox style, the guitarwork sounds like Jack Owen is still there, and Paul Mazurkiewicz's drumming sounds the same from other albums. A lesson I have learned is that when you've heard one CC song from an album, you've heard the entire album. So I'm willing to be proven wrong here, but it sounds like another mediocore effort despite Rutan's production

"Make Them Suffer" is an alright song, but if, as you said, the album's full of songs like that, it won't be anything special. CC have never appealed to me, not because of the gore but just because they're such a dull band.

I'm sure there will be. They always have two versions. One with the good artwork, and one with crappy censored artwork. The censored version of Vile just had the dude's face, WTF?

I am interested in this as well. While not the best DM band, I do enjoy them and you have to admit, these guys are consistant. It's one band I know will never to a total 180 with their sound.

Seeing them live is an awesome experience and made me give them a second look. I hail anyone who can play that fast and that precise for two hours straight with no breaks.

Among all the shit I've heard by CC, the only song I liked was Pounded into Dust. That was good, the rest, meh. I think I'm talking about the Bloodthirst album, I might have had that once a few years ago.

The new album is really good, on 4 or so listens. Make Them Suffer makes me want o mosh right now, awesome. I also think Maniacal and The Time To Kill is Now are cool, but this is one fucking brutal unrelenting album-so more listens will be needed.

The only thing I ever really liked about CC was their over-the-top gore-fests of artwork... And I hope that isn't the album artwork.
