I can vouch for Ved Buens Ende, it's one of the best albums in my collection.

You should get every single one of them except Leviathan (must be another Leviathan) and Peccatum there. If you like black metal, you'll love all of them.

It might be a good idea to get one album from each band. I find if I buy too much from one artist at once, I don't appreciate them properly. Unless you discipline yourself and stagger the listening...

If you're going to buy only one I suggest you buy Nattestid, it's one of the best bm records ever.

I can't agree/disagree with the words after the comma, but its a hella good album. Buy buy buy.

If you're going to get Peccatum, and you don't already have them, go for Lost in Reverie or Amor Fati instead. The former is definately better, but it's less a metal album and more of an avante-garde dark rock type thing. ... Earlier Peccatum than that just isn't that good.

And I'd take Nattestid... over ...Bjoergvin.

I'd comment on Windir, but I haven't actually heard that particular compilation album.

Nattestid is most important, the rest follows, indeed another Leviathan please.

Well, your answer is probably: All. But as mentioned before, The two albums by Taake are essential my friend. Windir is essential, if you like Melodic/Viking/Folk Black Metal. Sigh is excellent, get all their albums as they are very unique. Peccatum? Art! (as friends have mentioned their earlier albums are not very well produced, but it will be just fine if you like atmospheric Aavant-garde Art) "Lost In Reverie" is one my fav albums of all time and also their last. Keep of kalessin is very solid too, Attila on the vocals. Leviathan (get Tentacles of Whorror and Howl Mockery At The Cross) hard to get into but when past that stage it will be just become discovery, as it it very strong song writing. Krieg haven't heard very much but from what I have heard it is very good! And VED BUENS ENDE I do not know.

Same here. And I guess I'm going to have to get the Moribund People EP since there won't be a new full-length. :(

Absolutely. Funny, to have them mentioned twice today, being probably the only times I've ever seen them mentioned...anywhere.

NP
Sigh "Gallows Gallery"

I keep trying to find new things but there's so much shit out there, I just don't have the time or the need to try everything. Metal still kicks my ass. I'll get there where you are in time, just not now.

That is one of the very few EP's that I own (Do not like EP's). They have a cover of Bathory's "For All Those Who Died" which is: Very Good
