There's no better or worst,
there's diferent even in the same genre.

Which is better, wagner or mozart? Verdi or Vivaldi?
All are good in their own way.

Wagner and Vivaldi

I prefer them too, but their not better. I just Like them more.

"which of them you like the most" is diferent from "whom is better"

I stopped trying to differentiate between the two. I see your point, but as you said earlier, ultimately there are no "better" or "worse" bands. There is only personal opinion, who you like or don't like. You can debate certain aspects of music with some actual grounds for legitimate comparison and discussion but in the end you can't quantify good.

Mozart>Wagner>Verdi/Vivaldi(still they're very good...but italians are better at making pizza and CRapshody)

I voted Killing is my Businness! This album is fucking insane musicallywise, it has to be the first technical thrash album ever; it's fucking well executed for a debut album....compare it with Kreator's debut: Megadeth can play their instruments, Kreator cannot.

I give fucking good mentions also to Exodus, Metallica, Slayer.
And Sentence of Death>Endless Pain...because it's shorter!

You've got a point. Why is older thrash held in such high regard when most of it is shittily played? I've said it before, I'll say it again - if I wanted to listen to shitty thrash I'd listen to punk.

Zad, you don't know the pleasures of the thrash from a bin filled with refuse, mostly apple cores.

WHAT THE FUCK?!?!

God, I'm almost offended..You've just gone through several of my all time favourite albums and branded them as shit...

I'm listening to Bonded By Blood now, have you actually heard it? I'd easily rate it above 95, it's FUCKING AWESOME...

I'm gonna have to resist going on a full blown rant here, because along with death metal, thrash is my favourite genre and it's hard not to take this st5uff personally...I'd best lighten up, haha.

It's all IMO, of course. Don't get offended, but I never found thrash as....exciting as death, black or grind, so I never went into it too deeply. Any links to samples etc will be gratefully recieved, I'm not above changing my mind...

Haha, my post came off as hideously abrasive, I meant for it to be more tongue in cheek. I'll take a look for some links/samples whatever. But yeah, it isn't as 'deep' as other genres, it's more straightforward, erm, party metal, I guess.

I took it like a man.

When I was getting into metal, the party stuff wasn't what I was after. I wanted the uber-amazing stuff that was marked out from the pop shit, the metal that made me feel.

Maybe it's time to check out the stuff I missed, I'm already getting into Power metal slowly, so I suppose there's no excuse for missing thrash out...

Kill 'Em All does indeed suck, the Exodus I'm going to take another shot at. I like Stevie Wonder, but he has fuck-all to do with the topic, and your bad habit of swingin' by and offering stupid solutions is not funny.

Somebody else is gonna have to link some songs, this is fucking nigh on impossible with all these blocks...I've found Into the Pit by Testament if you're interested: http://www.metal-observer.com/mp3s.php?lid=1&l=T Just scroll down to it.

www.heathenmetal.com

It's blocked, but I understand you can hear 2 of their albums, great band.

I'm not changing my mind on Metallica. They are a shitty band, and I'm standing by that. Otherwise, I'll try the Exodus, Sodom, Kreator and Coroner. Your opinion on Destruction?

And thanks for the links, Pete, the first one is blocked, I'll play the Heathen now...
