Hmmmmm maybe.....but Angel Of Death is THE best song on the album and the one i only usually remember

Dont know why no one has mentioned South Of Heaven? Thats also a good album

Dude, don't dis on Raining Blood!

Oh, and go to the "new Slayer album" thread, where South of Heaven gets its props from many as Slayer's best ever, to which I would agree.

Show No Mercy is the best Slayer -l-.

Anyway, Master of Puppets sucks, so I guess that limits the options, eventhough Reign in Blood isn't that great. A couple of good standout tracks, and a lot of filler on that one.

I've always preferred Show No Mercy, Haunting the Chapel, and Hell Awaits to anything else Slayer has done.

MoP for me. And MoP is only Metallica's 3rd best album, of course South of Heaven is easily better than MoP/

The two are awsome masterpieces.
Depends on the mood I´m in.

But I voted MOP, the melody is more upfront.

RIB. I don't MOP. It's a shitty album. Just take look at Metal-Archives, there's a review by Ultra-Boris. I have the same approach and opinion as this guy has :)

Ultra-Boris is funny. But you can't always trust what he says, unless you're a brainless child.

On the subject now: Master of Puppets-90/100, Reign in Blood- 95/100.

Can you get more agressive than RIB? I think not. (and don't tell me about Pleasure to Kill...it's agressive but with a naive touch...)

The Sadus DTP demos are twice as savage and heavy as anything Slayer ever put out.

Urgh.

The Mastodon offering should at least be interesting.

Wow, Fightstar have really taken me by surprise with their sincerity and credibility. I feel ashamed for ever having doubted that the the guy from Busted could turn his hand to heavy music. Thanks to Kerrang! for pointing out to me how many records they could sell. Sorry, I mean how great they really are, and how they truly are a genuine metal band that have earned the respect they now command amongst such a demanding fanbase.

But where oh where are Avenged Sevenfold? Maybe they were offended by the fact that the editor of Kerrang! wants a civil partnership with Matt Heafy.
