Argh, I love Megadeth and so would probably vote for them, except it's one of the only ones of them I don't have. D'oh... I should get it.

Also, Sodom and Destruction are also great, but I don't like the earlier albums so much that are listed in the poll.

I voted for Kill 'Em All in the end [poser/]

I don't have that MD album either. Shit, I must get down to MusicZone...

You don't like early Destruction? Poser indeed. Ever I do, and thrash is probably my least fave genre...

I like Infernal Overkill, but not really Sentence of Death... Does that still count as early?

And yes, "the Music Zone" may be in for a visit this very evening from myself.

I'm not really an expert, I just like 'em!

I have to get SF, SG - SW! as well. Lots of holes to fill in...

NP: Kalmah - Skin Of My Teeth
Not bad...

Out of those albums, Bonded by Blood is the way to go. Pure thrashing madness.

you include Destruction and the overrated Testament, yet there is no Sepultura.

"Beneath-der-Remains!"
Their best. The earlier stuff's too sloppy for me, esp. the debut.

No Tankard?

Where is Overkill's Feel the Fire? That album deserves to be on here more than Testament.

You have no problems with early Destruction ? That's sloppy too.

Not as bad. I meant more production-and-shitty-songwriting-wise than playing, although early Sep's still > Venom.

Anyway, while Sepultura were a great band, Brazil is still home to one of the best old school metal scenes in the world. Bands like Sarcofago, Vulcano, Sextrash, Dorsal Atlantica, Mutilator, Chakal, Genocidio etc etc deserve high mention too.

what little i heard from Korzus was also pretty good.

Zad: damn right old sep is better than Venom.

Sepultura's early albums are raw and all but imo they still have some nice riffing.

This poll isn't very good, but I'd take Endless Pain from that list.

It is impossible to compare, for me at least.
There's no better or worst,
there's diferent even in the same genre.

Which is better, wagner or mozart? Verdi or Vivaldi?
All are good in their own way.
