yea, him, Garm or Peter Tagtgren

I know the point of this thread wasn't for someone who sings, but I picked Devin because he can scream, do death metal, do rock, do Halford-like wails, the man's range knows no bounds!

Lord Worm is what I was thinking of, just because he's so inhuman, seemingly random and punishing...But in the distance I heard in the wind coming from the graveyard:
"YEEEEEEUUUUURRRRGHHHHHH!!!"
John Tardy is the best extreme vocalist ever, fuck yeah! Vomit vocals forever!

Yea true, so I guess its Devin vs Peter then, I think as far as death growls/screams go Peter would win

Mine would be

David Vincent - Morbid Angel

Glenn Benton - Deicide

Chris Reifert - Autopsy

Those are the ones that come to mind immediately .

Oh come on, his vocals were shit. Altars of Madness is great, but for fucks sake...he kindly rasps the word, not growls.

The vote was for best extreme metal vocalist and death metal is considered extreme metal. And if you think his vocals were shit, that's your opinion/taste.

From that list... after relistening to Jesus' Tod, definitely Varg.

Other than that, I'd go for Nergal too.

Have a look. I found it for £8 at Steel Wheels, but I think that was a one-off. Might be a bit out of MZ's range...

Haha, Music Zone is my music shop for spare change kinda buys.
I'll have to check HMV or Virgin, no Steel Wheels here.

I'll think about it. £10.99... Let me check them out. Oh, cool! HMV have a free delivery service, I'll check this out-or play.com might have it, I trust them more, y'know.
