At the finish, A blaze in the northern sky edges out TH by 0.00001 millimetres in the race for best darkthrone album.

I haven't listened to any of them after Panzerfaust, but it's probably TH. If I feel like listening to Darkthrone, that is almost always the one I put in.

A Blaze in the Northern Sky

Also I love looking at the cover and saying it in a evil growly scandanavian accent 'A Blase un de Norden Sky' before I put it on.

I've only heard TH all the way through, otherwise I'd say Blaze like everyone else. This should be a poll...

I like the production on a blaze in the northern sky, but as far as everything else goes, TH is much better IMO

It's difficult, they have some really great albums, and the stylistic changes between them make it even tougher. I guess I have to go with ABITNS, if for nothing else than Pagan Winter.

They're both killer, just totally different.
ABitNS is like Celtic Frost and Bathory gone completely evil. Black, and oh so metal. TH is more atmospheric, but less metal.

A Blaze... just happens to be more up my alley. And Pagan Winter is truly a kickass song (for once i agree with Radical Cut :D ).
