Actually, it's quite the good song. It's just a very, very simple song musically and lyrically, but the grammatical snafu is just ridiculous. That aside, the SONG is excellent, and the solo is pretty snazzy, too.

The video would have worked without the music even, I think. Like the song, it's very simple, but the point is universal. The video represented, to me, the self-destructiveness of commercialization and industrialization and the effect it has on people and nature (burning trees). Of course, maybe I'm over analyizing and it's simply about being lonely. Heh.

It's definitely a song out of the norm for them, the album isn't like this so I don't fault the band for doing something different in style, they've been doing that since the beginning. Now, if they had an entire album with songs like this I'd probably like it, but it would get old quick.
