Evergrey - In Search of Truth

NP
Y&T "Down for the Count" (not so metal  )

up next
Wizard "Odin"

btw, I've donwloaded most of Evergrey's In Search of Truth (6/9), it's not bad... definitively something I got to listen to again, a bit too "proggy" for my taste but it may grow on me.... maybe I'll buy this album after all :D

You like Wizard? I think they suck and I can't really get into their music.

well, i was just trying it... Now that I'm almost through with it (8/11), I can tell you that it's typically the kind of record I can listen to once but bores me beyond that... if I want this kind of metal I can listen either to Manowar or Hammerfall & it's way better...

Into Eternity "Buried In Oblivion" now that's the thing ! it's what Im' expecting prog metal to be ! highly recommanded ! :D

isn't it a bit NU ? :?

they sure don't sound like NU, they sound very doomy, southern metal sort of like Down aand Black Sabbath but with soft vocals. Oh you know they actually sound a lot like softer Crowbar.

I haven't listened to it that closely yet, but I think the first 2 or 3 songs are pretty cool (Escape From Hellview, Flesh Into Gear, Sink Into the Underground). I got their cd for cheap in a store that was going out of business.

I wonder is this the same band? http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/de ... ce&s=music

they sound totally different.

Tony Martin really is a great singer. Really underestimated album and highly enjoyable if you like epic doomy (and a bit smooth) heavy metal with good vocals.

Sonata Arcitca - Winterheart's Guild

This album puts you in a good mood every time even though the lyrics aren't that happy.

Falconer - Chapters from a Vale Forlorn

I blind bought this after hearing The Clarion Call and it is fucking amazing! Here we have top notch catchy power metal with a singer with balls! Even the ballads are great :!:
