You like Wizard? I think they suck and I can't really get into their music.

well, i was just trying it... Now that I'm almost through with it (8/11), I can tell you that it's typically the kind of record I can listen to once but bores me beyond that... if I want this kind of metal I can listen either to Manowar or Hammerfall & it's way better...

they sure don't sound like NU, they sound very doomy, southern metal sort of like Down aand Black Sabbath but with soft vocals. Oh you know they actually sound a lot like softer Crowbar.

softer crowbar ? well, I gotta try this... any songs you would suggest ?

I haven't listened to it that closely yet, but I think the first 2 or 3 songs are pretty cool (Escape From Hellview, Flesh Into Gear, Sink Into the Underground). I got their cd for cheap in a store that was going out of business.

Tony Martin really is a great singer. Really underestimated album and highly enjoyable if you like epic doomy (and a bit smooth) heavy metal with good vocals.

Falconer - Chapters from a Vale Forlorn

I blind bought this after hearing The Clarion Call and it is fucking amazing! Here we have top notch catchy power metal with a singer with balls! Even the ballads are great :!:

hey Jaden, I had the chance to listen to "Imaginations on the Other Side" & I liked it

way better than their later works imo... :twisted:
