I just found your story was stupid... scaring away kiddies is nothing to be proud of.

blasting music from you car is stupid too... I hate when people do that so I will never do it myself.

LOL

First of all, the topic is about blasting music from their cars and if you havent noticed, other people have written their stories too. Go give them a hard time.

Second, the "kiddies" as you call them are 18+. Thats adults. In oz, to have a licence you need to be 18. So they old enough to take care of themselves.

And if you never have blasted music from your car, then there was never any need for you to post in this topic, or didnt you want to feel left out?

I was just reading, I'm kind of curious of metalheads everyday behaviour... I didn't mean to take part in the thread but your story won some sort of stupidity in my sick old brain... 8)

and even better than that is when you come alongside a car full of rap and hip hopsters, girls and guys, mostly young, just got their licence....and my metal drowns out their music (my system kicks ass). The scared looks on their little faces is priceless.

There was a time a friend of mine and one of his co-workers were circling a shopping centre car park, trying to find a spot, when another car stole this spot when they had it first. My friend got out of the car, wearing some metal t-shirt, pumping Cannible Corpse from his speakers. The guy in the other car got the hell outta there sooooooo quick and my friend got his parking space

I found this story funny as well. I just like to see the look on people's faces. Good stuff.

Hrmm I have very mixed feelings about blasting music out of anything. When I am driving around at work I play it loud enough to drown out the mind erasing drone that is the big city. If it's the colder months it doesn't matter because my truck is sealed up, but in the summer and I stop alongside say a car full of young children I will always turn my music down. It drives me fucking bat shit to hear someone else's music that's a full block away. Stupid macho bullshit is all it is.

Just today, in fact, there are these trashy fucks who live a few doors down in my apartment complex, and their apartment is RIGHT NEXT to the playground where all these little kids were playing and they were BLASTING korn out the windows and I could hear fuck every other word even down where I live. To me that's screwed up. I'm all for rocking out and I even like Korn but jesus have just a shred of class. Hopefully they will get aids and die or something. But like someone else mentioned, if I am stuck in traffic somewhere and some prick tough guy is going to make me sit through his music then I will turn mine just as loud.

You say they should have a shred of class, then you say you hope they get aids?

Thats class...

Car stereos are made for playing loud. If i come across a car full of young children or babies, then yes, turn it down or wind up my own windows to muffle the sound. Soon as they are gone, the blasting continues

Well, how else are the little kiddies going to know what's good music and what isn't? We don't want them growing up listening to Linkin Park and Avril Lavigne now, don't we? Heh, just kidding.

If my kids were listening to Linkin Park I'd disown them.

Nah, I wouldn't. I wouldn't have kids in the first place, they're lame.

Why?

It's your car, you can do what you want. If someone wants to turn up their favourite music, so be it. And if they have a kick ass system, thats a bonus.

Cant see how thats stupid, its an expression of ones self

Once upon a time when I was driving I stopped at a red light. Waiting there another car pulled up besides me. In that car they were listening to rap music very loud... So I blasted some Sodom on my discman and put the earphones in my ears.. That way I drowned out thier inferior music and enjoyed my own without acting like the exact same bunch of stupid brats in the adjacent car..

@ metalNESS:  Is that Niels Olsen in your signature?

No it's Devin Townsend.

Driving with headphones on is illegal (at least in Nebraska).
