I can't find ANYONE to start a band with, it fucking sucks. All I want to play is some black metal, and I can't find ANYONE. NO ONE, NOT ONE PERSON.

I've been looking for almost 3 years. It's tough. You can find a lot of musicians that will be a waste of time, and that seems to be the norm. It sucks.

I've been waiting my whole life to start a band. I gave up waiting. Once I get my hands on some stuff to record with I'm starting it. You don't need anyone else if you want to "write" black metal music, but if you just want to play then I hope you find some cool guys to play with.

There are tons of one man BM projects! Maybe you could be the next Wrest or something.

Fuck man..I don't know how to play the rest of the instruments properly, I do have a guitar and an amp, I guess I could teach myself, but, I would rather focus on drumming.

Just keep in mind that most big names in bm aren't actually masters of their instruments. Fenriz is a good example. He said many times that he thinks he sucks at drums but he did many one man projects and wrote some decent music by himself. (and he looks cool in this photo doesn't he)

True, but he says in darkthrone drums don't matter, it's riffs riffs riffs. And I definitley can't play riffs riffs riffs yet.

You're going to have a hard time finding people for BM because BM isn't as popular as say power,doom,prog or just plain heavy metal unless you live in Norway,Sweden or other scan countries because it seems BM is really popular over there.

I'd love to join you.. My one man project is becoming increasingly gay... :? ... So I would be happy to play some frostbitten necro-metal... Unfortunately there is a little problem with the distance..

I'd love to join any of your bands! Unfortunately I can't play any instruments, I can't sing melodically, and I can't even growl a few minutes without my voice dying out.

Maybe I can play the cow bell for some truly avant-garde metal band.

Well, for the onmes with this problem, why don't you try to made a www band? with things as webconference, irc, ftp for mp3, messenger and mails, the distances are short.

If you don't find in your town people to play, think in global .. in the era of technology, all is possible

Well Huskers ancestors are from Denmark...but I don't suppose that helps.

Caleb, I'll learn to play guitar this summer and then we can start a band. I don't want to play black metal though.
