I wonder what inspired me to listen to this.

Haha, Im also about to check that song out. When someone writes so passionatly about something, I just have to check it out. Unless of course someone shows up and jokingly writes about passionately eating poo, I dont think I would check that out, it would have to be reeeeeaalllly passionate.

Silent Man, your new sig just made me spit up soda all over my keyboard. Oh, and the answer to your question about Doomsword is yes. I consider them a traditional doom band with a strong power metal influence.

The Epicus review put me in a mood to listen to a doom classic.

man, I still haven't reviewed Mar de Grises.. it's like an 85/100 thing and I'm just ignoring it, haha. I wonder why. hmm, maybe because it's doom/death and it'd ruin my reputation?

this has excellent vocals, but the general midi drumset, haha. kinda distracting, that open hat sound always sounded like hell to me.

so stoned. Tomegapentagram is like a cross between prog and really heavy stoner doom, c'est cool! one song even has a total Bonham style rock'n'roll drum solo!

I am. If schwing! means good that is.. I still haven't heard Aarni and what I've heard from Umbra Nihil was pretty good 8)

np: Church of Misery - Master of Brutality

awesome stoner alert.. heavy riffing doom with lyrics based on serial killers, with hidden tempos and the suspended bass and everything. quality stuff a lot like Sleep's Holy Mountain.

np: Dirge - ..and Shall the Sky Descend

Just four huge sludge tracks.. I suppose you could compare them to the Cult of Luna with less stupid hardcore, but the same ideas about light and shade.
