How about Ulver - Bergtatt?

I love it, and Nattens Madrigal, and Kveldessanger, and Themes..., and Blood Inside, :)

.:crast:.

Ok, then I've come to the conclusion that you do have taste in BM, but fail to understand Burzum just yet :)

Hehe, I own 3 Burzum CDs, and I have listened to them rather extensively. It's not bad, I just don't see that it is so good either.

Zad meant, as far as Zad knows, that Varg is out of prison, on parole, meaning if he stabs any more people he'll go back to prison. Since guitars are allowed when one is not in prison, Zad feels that this album will indeed have guitars, and maybe even drums. Zad is available for further consultation at a very reasonable price.

Ah, so he's actually out. Thats good to hear. Maybe he'll be so angry about the current metal scene that he'll kill some metalcore fags and go straight back in  Which would suck cos he wouldnt be able to make music.

Are there metalcore fags in Norway? I was under the impression it's all frostbitten men and beautiful women.

I don't think he has had the chance to hear about what's really going on in the bm scene, being in prison and shit. And he wouldn't leave Norway, he is a nationalist.

All I know is that he will make an album and he did say it will be "burzumic", what else do we need ? Maybe this will kickstart a new wave in Norway bm, waking the sleeping giant or something like that.

Doubt he'll enjoy it, once he does. Let's face it, most of the modern lot aren't fit to lick his testicles. Maybe it will kick off a wave of trveness, that would be interesting...

Yup. It would be cool to have more bands from Norway. This could be the boost they needed, even the French bands are better .

Varg has this to say about the current BM scene-

"Even as early as in 1990 most of the Death Metal bands followed the current, were incorporated into the commercial music business and had lost all their "soul". The so-called Black Metal bands shortly followed, and (as far as I know) with the exception Fenris of Darkthrone they all sold out and failed to live up to any of the original Black Metal ideas. The younger bands from Norway, that came in 1993 or later, as a result of the media coverage of our tiny milieu, never even knew about these ideas, so they ironically never actually sold out. However, it is a bit silly that they do all these things and look a certain way and don't even know why. They just joined a herd and never even knew where the herd originally came from or where it had been before they joined in. In short we can say that the so-called Black Metal bands became commercialized too."

I must say, I'd love to have a beer with the guy and just argue with him. Long as he left his knives at home, obviously.

I'd like that too. But I can't tell him I'm Turkish and you can't tell him you're Jewish, he could stab us with a pencil, 456 times, each.

Well, if there were two of us, we could hold him down...

Ok, when it happens, you hit him with the beer bottle, and I'll tie him up.
