Naah, I know what I like though, :)

Never got over the annoying vocals in thrash.

I know what you mean, a lot of thrash seems a bit boring to me. As if they build up, but can't take that extra step that would make the music great.

I'm sure of it. Just as it took time to get into the style of music I like now, it would take time to get into thrash. There are too many good death bands to listen too though, :D

(Hey, that being said, I do enjoy thrashish death! :D)

This is tough for me but I must ask, why is there no Destruction selection? Destruction is one of my all time favourite thrash bands. But since I have to pick between Sodom and Kreator, that's what i'll do. I am going with Kreator, now hear me out. For Kreator I own more albums than Sodom. I don't own any Sodom because wherever I go I can't find them. It's hard to find Kreator to but I still have come across more Kreator than Sodom. So my choice is Kreator is my winner because what I have heard I liked but the same for Sodom. But as I said Kreator wins only because I have heard more. But overall Destruction beats them all. And has anybody heard of Rigor Mortis? When is their new cd coming out? Or do they even have one?

I asked myself the same question... and I miss Coroner, too.
The four big big european thrash metal bands.
and, for me, the order is: Destruction, Sodom, Kreator, Coroner. But is really tought to choice between the four.

And the winner is...Sodom!!! Just for more crazy approach to music, and playing stuff like "Aber Bitte Mit Sahne"

Angelripper rocks! Hope to see them in Poland in two month time :)

This is a hard decision. Both bands are in my top five bands of all time, no question about that. Sodom has been much more consistent, thats for sure, and they can thrash like few others. However, I'd have to say my two favourite Kreator albums (Coma and Pleasure) beat my two favourite Sodom albums (Persecution and Agent, and that Kreator at their peak were better than Sodom at their peak. There's also the live factor; I've seen both bands live and while both played incredibly well and I had a fucktacular time at both, Kreator had that little extra something. So I'm going to go with Kreator, but its a very, very small win.

I have all the Kreator albums, and i love this band very much.
I have only one Sodom album(Tapping the Vein),and it's fucking agressive.Therefore i won't vote.

I have great expectations with the rest of the Sodom catalogue now;meanwhile i've heard that Tapping the vein is Sodom 's most agressive(understand "fast&furious")album, and that the classics(Agent Orange,Persecution Mania)don't go as far in terms of agression. What do you think?
