I think Axl's an awful vocalist. Lyrics=bleh. Riffs, guitarist, ok, as I said. Attitude? Please. Cool Cover Means Nothing.

So basically, you hate WAR. That's fine.

Well, I don't like Varg but like Burzum. There's more to it than that...

Well, I have the album. This is a bunch of live tracks and a bunch of horrible studio tracks. I doubt this is the real deal. There is frikin 22 tracks.

This isn't the first time demos have leaked. I know some shoddy demos have leaked a few times over the years.

I agree. :?

That is the first time I've heard someone call GNR 'average crap' but then again I only really like Appetite for Destruction and would probably describe the rest of the their output as over hyped with the odd bit of crap thrown in.
Appetite for Destruction actually took a long time to become popular (I was listening to it for months before it broke) so the over hyped charge is false for that one. And it is most certainly not crap.

Even Appetite! Sure, catchy songs, but what else?

Dude, this is music! Catchy songs generally equate to good music, you can't ask for anything more than that.

yeah, the entire Top 40 at any time will be composed of catchy music, but that doesn't make it good. gimme a twenty minute song over it all.

Exactly. Apart from BR, I can't think of any more that wouldn't be cut down...maybe some obscure Beatles?

Good music doesn't mean you have to like it.

You're confusing me. Are you saying Blink 182 are good, or you like them? Or good music is music which you hate?

I guess Hey Jude (7'08") was edited... and I Want You (She's so Heavy) (7'47") never was a single... and Revolution 9 (8'22") never was a song actually...

that's all for long Beatles songs 8)

How is it confusing? Brad Pitt is a good looking guy, but I'm totally, 100% unattracted to him. Understand?

You said catchy songs meant good music. I retorted, now can you rephrase your retort a little more clearly?

Are you saying bad, catchy music is good, just because it's catchy? Go ahead with the picture if it helps.
