Took about two listens for Ace of Spades to sink in.. so why the hell is 'Ace of Spades' the most famous song off this album?

Gets played the most.

Warmen- Beyond abilities
Warmen- Accept the fact

Beyond abilities has a song called salieri strikes back, and Accept the fact has a song called return of salieri. is this a person? both are built around the same piano line i think.

He was a Classical composer. Warmen loves the movie Amadeus. That is why you always hear quotes from that movie in Bodom and Warmen.

Check that movie out if you haven’t.

Helloween - Keeper of The Seven Keys: The Legacy
Blind Guardian - Somewhere Far Beyond

Now that I have the actual Keepers/Legacy album I find some of the songs are alot better than I remember when I heard the MP3s, Im so sick of MP3s, owning the real thing is so much better.

Agreed. I find that I listen to MP3s far less and don't give them much attention. I don't know why, I just like the CD better. I also can't review MP3 copies of a CD. I like to discuss the band and the music, so I look through the lyrics and the liner notes, etc. MP3s have none of that.

Any Helloween (except Chameleon, that sucks) is good, but get that album.

No metal so far in 2006.

The only "new" album I´ve bought so far is:

Toto - Falling in between

GREAT comeback album and without doubt one of their best ever:)

hoooo that sucks :(

I call it a desperate attempt to try to win back some of their past fame... (with succeeding, that's what make it so desperate)

and I listened to it twice  best score I can give to it 25/100

NP
Turin Brakes "Either Song"

I do not agree at all. "Falling in between" is the first album since 1988´s "The seventh one" that doesn´t sound "tired & uninspired" like "Tambu", "Mindfields" and the horrible cover album "Through the looking glass" did. Great songs, great performance and they sound hungry and inspired again. My rate for this album is undoubtley 85/100

I'm glad you like it

I agree with pretty much everything you said (aka Toto lost their touch after 7th One) only I don't think this album to be that return to form you seem to have noticed...

imo, it's like your average power metal album : it looks good, it sounds good but, in the end, there's nothing more to be found...

Local record shop, sorry if I got your hopes up there. :P

They were all second hand - Something Wild and Tokyo Warhearts were there too but I already have this one and don't care too much about this one. Obviously someone's sold them all in a fit of tr00ness after hearing Are You Dead Yet?
