Very funny. We all know it's a popularity contest here, one reviewer could review WHAM! and it would become a 14 page thread in an hour, someone else could review the greatest album ever and it would be ignored.

And Lizardtail didn't figure them out, only one of them is easy to figure out. Maybe two.

hrm, I've noticed that the review threads that get the most attention feature the bands that everyone has heard of, or else they're a review of something stupid enough to cause an argument about, say, metalcore. nothing to do with reviewer popularity that I can see..

No, but I guess I'm basing this opinion on my reviews and the lack of responses they get, but what lizardtail just said may have more to do with it than what I was thinking. I do like to review CDs that people most likely haven't heard before, I think that's the best kind of review, one that'll open you up to something you've not heard.
