Wow. By curling, I figured we'd at least get something cool like some ogre-ish looking weightlifters doing heavy bicep curls while dressed in Conan the Barbarian apparel.

Ughhh, this is terrible!

Because Hammerfall is immesely popular in Europe...and bands like them. Hence the Unicorn and Fairyland reviews done on this website. So don't get all defensive just because you're European. I am as well, so its time to reconcile yourself with the fact that fag metal reigns supreme.

You can't even call what we have here in the states metal anymore.

European metal > American music

This is a very accurate statement. When you get out of the garage with the select few metal friends that agree in taste maybe you will see this as well. The States "blows" in metal; especially my side (south/Tennessee)

Dude, you should come to Omaha. We are four years behind everybody else. You'd think you stepped into a time warp.

you think it's any better in Michigan???? For the most part everything here is brutal death metal, or Swedish Death metal. Harbinger is the only traditional band and Sauron and Nocturnal Fear are the only thrash metal bands. We're pretty fucked here in the states.

Radagast....don't even try to tell me that bands like hammerfall don't have a strangle hold on Europe. If you can't see that then you're a fucking retard. hell people in the states see it, why can't you? And the fact that hammerfall would go through the motions of filming a video for a gay song, with a female curling team....means that they must have gotten paid pretty well. Which makes them the sell outs I accused them of being long ago. All we need now is for Stratovarious to do a commercial for Victoria Secret.

I must say, you're right in regard to some bands. Not neccessarily Hammerfall (here, at least), though.

So what, you're theory is that Power Metal (or fine, Euro Metal so you won't jacknife the debate off into another "modern sucks" one) is the most popular genre in Europe?

Wow, intuitive stuff professor.
