I'm listening to Deadwing right now. I like it. They remind me of OK Computer-era Radiohead (in fact, the riff for Ariving Somewhere But Not Here sounds a lot like the riff for Paranoid Android). Anybody else here like them?

pretty good, although I think some of their longer songs could have been a lot shorter because they don't really go anywhere with them.

A friend of mine used to listen PT a lot when we were living in one room during the studies at the university. I like this music, however not to the extent that I would take the CD and listen to it myself. Rather if I hear it somewhere, or somebody plays it on the party.

They're just a poor man's Pink Floyd. Why listen?

they were in their old recordings, now they mix it with Radiohead influences and a hint of metal to spice it up... it works damn fine when the songs are good (most of them are) but bores intensly in poorer compositions...

still PT is a good band and really not a PF copycat since Stupid Dream (1999, quite a long time...)

NP
Gentle Giant "Three Friends"
one of the very best 70's prog acts along Genesis, King Crimson & Van der Graaf Generator (imho Yes, Elp and others were less interesting acts)

I don't like them at all. Then again I was never a Radiohead person.

I absolutely love this band. In Absentia is better than Deadwing though.
