Documentary On TOOL Frontman's Wine Business To Begin Filming

The Pulse of Radio reports that a documentary about the efforts of TOOL frontman Maynard James Keenan and his partner Eric Glomski to establish a wine-making industry in Arizona's Verde Valley is about to go into production. According to Keenan's publicist, the film will be co-directed by Christopher Pomerenke and Ryan Page, the same team that made the acclaimed music documentaries "Moog" and "The Heart Is A Drum Machine". The movie will showcase the "unusual and often metaphysical " location of the business, described by Keenan as "thick, dense, rich, complex, engaging and spiritual," while also profiling the mysterious singer and his wine-making partner. The track comes off Bayley's new album, "The Man Who Would Not Die", which was mixed by former WOLFSBANE guitarist Jase Edwards at Jase's studio in Tamworth, Staffordshire, England. In his first interview since announcing his departure from QUEENSRŸCHE, guitarist Mike Stone tells "Rockin' Metal Revival" that he left the group on good terms. "Working with QUEENSRŸCHE has been awesome, and I don't have any problem with the guys in the band," he says. "It was time for me to move on and work on my own music." Springfield, Massachusetts grindcore act AGORAPHOBIC NOSEBLEED has posted a new song, "Agorapocalypse Now", on the band's MySpace. The track comes off the group's fourth full-length album, "Agorapocalypse", which is scheduled for an April 14 North American release (April 20 internationally) via Relapse Records. Miika Tenkula, the lead guitarist and main songwriter of the acclaimed Finnish band SENTENCED, passed away earlier today at the age of 35.
