16 Jun 2015

MORBID ANGEL bassist/vocalist David Vincent has released the following statement:

"I am aware of Trey Azagthoth's [MORBID ANGEL guitarist] announcement of a collaboration with Steve Tucker on new music. However, the inference that I have left MORBID ANGEL is incorrect. To be clear, I have not left MORBID ANGEL nor have I been asked to do so."

Azagthoth released a statement earlier today saying that he was "excited to announce that Steve Tucker and I are working together again for MORBID ANGEL and the next record will certainly be an amazingly sick World Beater!"

Tucker added in post on his Facebook page: "Yes! It is true. I am happy to announce that Trey and ...

Commented OBITUARY: "We had a blast creating the idea for the video and to watch Balázs animate us was a very cool experience.

"In the world of modern technology, it is easy to shoot a music video with a camera crew and high-tech video equipment but we wanted something different. Something we hope the fans enjoy and understand that OBITUARY, though we are the godfathers of Florida death metal, don't take themselves too seriously and enjoy having fun.

ELECTRIC WIZARD: 'Time To Die' Album Artwork Unveiled
01 Jul 2014

Visually intoxicating, uncompromisingly heavy and revered for making music and lifestyle one, ELECTRIC WIZARD will release its eighth full-length album, "Time To Die", later in the year via Spinefarm Records.

Says ELECTRIC WIZARD founding member Jus Oborn: "All of our albums in the past have had a theme — revenge, drugs, black magick — and the theme of this one is death. Of course, death to us really means rebirth, so this album is a manifestation of a very primal occult belief in the final sacrifice.

"We have gone full circle — it was inevitable, but we had to do it. We had to kill the band so we could be reborn. It was the only way to ensure we could come back ...
