The first thing that strikes you about Dutch instrumental four piece Kong, is their music (no lyrics).

This band was formed back in 1988 and the four original members made three highly acclaimed albums for Peaceville Records :
1) Dreamtime - Mute Poet Vocalizer (1990)
2) Phlegm (1992)
3) Puch Comes To Shove (1995)

After these three albums, they went with Roadrunner for two other releases (Earmined & Freakcontrol). This is no doubt that Kong's record are a musical adventure and that between rock and the dance world, Kong is playing the equilibrium between madness and genius.
I think there is absolutely no way to describe such a music ! May be just one word could resume their work : organic dance-rock !

88-95 is their best songs under Peaceville Record from 1988 to 1995. What ever your taste, don't miss to listen at least one time in your life to Kong's music.

Simply crazy !!!
