Endless Recovery from Greece are woefully stuck in the past with their 7” EP release Resistant Bangers, but for them it is a good thing. When you play 80s speed thrash it has to feel old. On their trip back in time Endless Recovery are mostly concerned with speed and feel of their music, while not demonstrating terrible riff variety. Quick breakdown around 3' on the title track followed by a crazy air siren lead notwithstanding, the song packs speed in the verse and accelerates further in the chorus, if fast verse wasn't enough for you. Some wild howling vocals by Mixalis Skliros being an "interesting" choice, the song ought to appeal to genre purists.

For my liking, Side B Predefined Life was more interesting, since leaving none of the genre trappings behind, it focused more on the melody. Speed still in full force, Predefined Life had more punky attitude and definitely a better hook. For me, a better hook in thrash always wins.

Those loving to bang should take a cue from the EP’s title and seek the band's other works. New album is said to be in the works.
